Elips sports engineering was founded in 1993 by a couple of engineers, Renan&Zuhal Rizvanoğlu. Today, it has the work experience gained in three continents, and more than ten countries. It's network of suppliers and customers cover tens of countries in allover the world. In the beginning, the company started operating as being the agent of some foreign companies. Today, this continues, coupled with production and assamblage operations. Today, company is both an importer and an exporter as well as a producer. During the years have passed, the company has made a reputation for itself with its hardworking and the level of support it provided to its customers. Since 2009, the second generation of the family is in charge, and one thing they will never change is the essence of the company, and its components.
Founders
Renan RİZVANOĞLU Being an engineer, who never gave up dealing with sports in his life, our founder was born in Istanbul at 1949. He completed his primary and highschool studies at the Ankara TED, the Istanbul English Highschool and Isik Highschool. When he the time has come to choose a university to attend to, he had already made his mind, and he has chosen ITU(Istanbul Technical University), the school where his beloved elder cousin Mr.Vedit ARIG graduated from. He graduated from ITU in 1972, with a degree in electronics/communications engineering. By the time he was going to university, there were only one proper indoor sports hall in Istanbul, the ITU sports hall. The Sports and Exhibition Palace had asphalt flooring at the time it opened its doors, then it got a hardwood flooring made of the type of planks which are used for construction. After that, the hall converted into a congress hall.
Zuhal (FINDIKLI) RİZVANOĞLU Ms.Rizvanoglu was born in an unknown year in Malatya. She graduated from the Adana Highschool for girls, where her family has been living at that time since her father was working there. For university, she has attended the Middle Eastern Technical School(ODTU) located in Ankara, and studied there for two years. After that she has transferred to Yildiz Technical University, located in Istanbul. After school, she has worked the Iskenderun Iron&Steel factory for nine years, as an ultrasonic welding engineer. After that, she has moved to Istanbul, has worked for a couple of companies, and founded Elips sports engineering in 1993.
