Ground moisture-Why is it so important?

A flooring material, no matter how high quality it is, would not last long, and/or would not give its best performance if it not installed properly. The meaning of a ground with moisture is that, there is vertical movement of water steam from the lower levels of the ground, to the grout surface. This is a physical movement, and no material or adhesive in the world can resist it.

This is why, we require the ground moisture level to be under 4% for syntethic systems, and under 2,5% for hardwood systems to install. An installation that will be made above these levels will contaion very high risk for the life span of the flooring system. Some possible defects are partial rising, turning, or getting hilly.(for the hardwood systems)
